Open-Shell 能在 Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012 和 Windows Server 2012 R2 動作。 同時支援 32 和 64 位元 (以相同安裝程式)。 某些 [開始] 功能表的面板需要 啟用 Aero 佈景主題。 其它至少需要 Basic 佈景主題。<br>
