## Current status
Ventura is mostly usable on all Metal capable Macs (2012 and newer), having only a few minor known issues. A display init issue affecting the Mac Pro Late 2013 (MacPro6,1) is currently making it unable to boot Ventura, more information [here](https://github.com/acidanthera/bugtracker/issues/2126).
Overall, macOS Ventura is useable on most Metal-capable machines (ie. 2012 and newer). The graphics patches implemented have near feature parity to macOS Monterey, with patches still being under heavy development. ### Late 2013 Mac Pro Boot Issues
BCM94328, BCM94322 and Atheros WiFi cards will not function under Ventura, as Ventura has broken legacy WiFi patches.
As mentioned above, users of the Late 2013 Trash Can Mac Pro (MacPro6,1) currently cannot boot macOS Ventura. This issue is still being actively researched, however no overall time estimate can be given. See below for more information:

### AMD Polaris, Vega and Navi support on pre-2013 Mac Pros
* Note: AVX 2.0 is required for Vega and Navi drivers, making these cards non-functional under Ventura when a Pre-AVX 2.0 CPU is used, which includes all classic Mac Pros. Therefore Polaris is the newest architecture functional with these machines.
For users with 2008 to 2012 Mac Pros (MacPro3,1-5,1), keep in mind macOS Ventura now requires [AVX2.0 support in the CPU](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Advanced_Vector_Extensions#Advanced_Vector_Extensions_2) for native graphics acceleration. Thus while your GPU may be natively supported, you cannot run Ventura officially with these GPUs.

Currently not supported. Apple has changed the graphics stack significantly to support new features (such as Stage Manager) by adding a new layer called WindowManager, breaking all previous patches.
Therefore an estimated time for non-Metal support cannot be provided, as this has created a much greater challenge.
Currently at this time, OpenCore Legacy Patcher only supports patching the AMD Polaris Graphics stack to no longer require AVX2.0. However due to lack of hardware on-hand, we cannot support AMD Vega or Navi on Ventura.

Regarding non-Metal, the team is hard at work to get non-Metal working, however this is our greatest challenge since Big Sur.
Apple has made significant changes to the graphics stack in order to facilitate fancy effects, and in particularly, Stage Manager. We will update you as we work on development, however, now is not the best time to ask about ETAs.

### USB 1.1 (OHCI/UHCI) Support
For Penryn systems and pre-2013 Mac Pros, USB 1.1 support was outright removed in macOS Ventura. Which USB1.1 may seem unimportant, it handles many important devies on your system. These include:
